Mobile Armour uses your IMEI to establish and verify your legitimate ownership.

The easiest way to find your IMEI is by using the universal dial code:

1. Open your phone's dialer app.
2. Enter the sequence: *#06# The IMEI number(s) will instantly appear on your screen. You can also typically find it under Settings > About Phone or on the original product box.

Registration is a simple, multi-step process:

1. Download the app and create your account.
2. Follow the on-screen steps for secure identity verification (using Multi-Factor Authentication).
3. The app will automatically capture and securely register your device's IMEI number to your verified identity, linking your hardware fingerprint to you as the rightful owner.

Upon successful registration, your device status on the app's dashboard will immediately change to "Registered & Protected." You will also receive an official digital Certificate of Ownership within the app and via email.

Yes. We prioritize security using bank-grade encryption (AES-256) for all data transmission and storage. Your personal identifiable information (PII) is only used to establish legal ownership. All payment processing is handled by secure, providers, meaning we do not store your full payment details on our servers.

The flag you choose determines the severity of the lock:

• Lost: Triggers a "Soft Lock." This allows you to monitor the device's last known location and recovery actions without immediately triggering national blacklisting.
• Stolen: Triggers a "Hard Lock" and National Blacklisting. This prevents any future ownership transfers and flags the IMEI across carrier and reseller databases, rendering the device commercially worthless and maximizing fraud deterrence.

Yes. While our core mission is ownership verification and fraud deterrence, you can actively view your device's last known location when it is powered on and connected to the internet or when an attempted SIM card change occurs. Additionally, we provide verified ownership documentation to law enforcement, which is often crucial for them to proceed with recovery actions based on IMEI tracking, significantly strengthening your case for device return.

You must use the Verified Ownership Transfer feature in the app.

1. Select the device and initiate the transfer.
2. Enter the email or phone number of the new owner (who must have or create a Mobile Armour account).

The system sends them an OTP. Once they accept the request and verify their identity, the digital title is instantaneously transferred from your name to theirs.

The transfer process is 24 hours once the new owner accepts the request and completes their verification step. You will receive an email confirmation, and the device will immediately disappear from your list of owned devices in the Mobile Armour app, confirming the transfer is complete.
